Hypnosis has become an effective tool for weight loss, as well as a host of other issues such as self-confidence, smoking, insomnia, and stress. As a board-certified hypnotherapist and psychologist, Dr. Andrews has found that hypnosis is a great path to helping people lose weight and keep it off. She emphasizes that hypnosis is not a miracle, but rather it helps shift the person’s mindset to be positive, and not to give up if they have a slip-up. Dr. Andrews explains how through hypnosis, she installs positive suggestions into the subconscious mind – such as drinking more water, eating more protein, and controlling stress, as well as discovering the root cause of why the person is holding on to weight. She also stresses the importance of self-love and self-forgiveness for a successful weight loss journey.
