INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed David Dozier who is a leading media authority.

On a recent Price of Business show, Host Kevin Price interviewed Dr. David Dozier. He’s a retired professor of journalism at San Diego State University. They discussed Donald Trump’s continuing attacks on journalists and the facts they report. Trump recently demanded that Eugene Robinson, a Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist at The Washington Post, be “fired immediately.” Robinson’s opinion column ruffled Trump’s feathers. He’s suing CBS for $20 billion. He feels CBS “deceptively” edited a 60 Minutes interview with Kamala Harris prior to the 2024 election. Working journalists resist Trump’s Orwellian attempts to instantly rewrite all history to his liking. But the billionaire newspaper owners of The Los Angeles Times and The Washington Post are cowards. The owners crushed the papers’ endorsements of Kamala Harris, fearing a vengeful autocrat. Paramount, which owns CBS and 60 Minutes, wants to settle Trump’s frivolous lawsuit by caving in. Why? Paramount’s controlling owner wants to sell Paramount to Skydance Media. That requires approval of Trump’s weaponized FCC. When the news media report facts, Trump calls the facts “fake” and offers “alternative facts” (lies). In the last two months of his 2024 campaign, Trump attacked working journalists over 100 times, according to Reporters Without Borders. The First Amendment needs news media owners with the guts to stand up for a free press. Currently, those owners are missing in action (see www.DavidDozierBooks.com and www.linkedin.com/in/david-dozier-576b684/)
