INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed David Dozier who is a leading media authority.

Ex-President Donald J. Trump and one of his lawyers insist. The First Amendment protects Trump’s messaging in 2020-2021 as he attempted to pull off a coup. This is a smokescreen. In the heat of campaigns, many politicians stretch the truth. Some lie. Trump can and has knowingly lied to the American people. In office, The Washington Post tallied 30,573 lies or misleading statements made by Trump. The First Amendment protects Trump’s lies and misleading statements. However, the Annenberg Public Policy Center at the University of Pennsylvania has succinctly blown away Trump’s duplicitous First Amendment smokescreen. On multiple occasions, the U.S. Supreme Court has ruled that the First Amendment does not protect speech in furtherance of a crime (https://www.factcheck.org/2023/08/trumps-first-amendment-defense). Did Trump know the Big Lie (the 2020 election was stolen) was a big lie? Did he conspire to cling to the Presidency, knowing that he had lost? In late December 2020, Republican Attorney General Bill Barr told Trump. There was no evidence of a stolen election. Trump’s lawyers filed over 50 lawsuits to overturn the 2020 election. The courts dismissed all of them. Trump follows the same playbook that has served him well when caught doing something unethical or illegal. He has put up a frivolous legal smokescreen to delay his trial and possible conviction on multiple felony charges against him.
