Everyone who wants the vaccine is struggling with the same issue – how to get an appointment through their local and/or state portal! Here’s an idea – try physically going to your local vaccine distribution location and put your self on the walk-in list. Get there before they open so you can be on the top of the wait list. There are always people with appointments who don’t show up – and all vaccines MUST be given within a time-sensitive window due to their temperature storage requirements. Assuming they have left overs in between appointments and the end of the day, you could very well find yourself in the right place at the right time and receive a vaccine. It’s free – all it takes is a time commitment and patience and positive attitude. Hear how this Florida resident got lucky – and that was her story!
