INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed David Dozier who is a leading media authority.

If you’re against antisemitism, you should oppose the Antisemitism Awareness Act. Why? Because it adds weight to the antisemitic trope that a Jewish cabal controls the government, news media, etc. to benefit Jews. And because it’s really an unconstitutional Trojan horse to suppress criticism of Israel and the Israeli government. Itamar Turner-Trauring, a Jew and Israeli citizen living in Cambridge, provides an articulate denunciation of this. He writes in the CommonWealth Beacon, “The Antisemitism Awareness Act is an insult to Jews like me.” https://commonwealthbeacon.org/opinion/antisemitism-awareness-act-is-insult-to-jews-like-me/. In May, the U.S. House of Representatives passed the Antisemitism Awareness Act with bipartisan support. The U.S. Senate has not acted on it. The Act is a Republican election-year shenanigan—with many Democrats complicit. The Act codifies a definition of antisemitism promulgated by the pro-Israeli International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance. The Act also enshrines IHRA “examples” of “antisemitism.” These include (1) accusing Zionism and the Israeli theocracy of racism, (2) comparing the slaughter of civilians in Gaza by Israel Defense Forces with Nazi atrocities, (3) holding Israel to higher standards than other nations and (4) claiming that Jews killed Jesus. These are opinions. As much as you may disagree with them, the First Amendment protects their expression. Under the Act, universities that permit such free speech can be cut off from federal funding. The hidden agenda is to treat opposition to the current Israeli government and the state of Israel (and its apartheid policies) as “hatred of Jews.”
