INTERVIEW ON THE PRICE OF BUSINESS SHOW, MEDIA PARTNER OF THIS SITE.

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed Jeremy Murphy.

On a recent Price of Business show, Host Kevin Price interviews former CBS TV Vice President, Jeremy Murphy.

Recently Price and Murphy discussed the possible future of 60 Minutes. They examined Price’s suggestion that the 60 Minutes team should transition to Netflix to build a prestigious streaming news division. Embracing this shift liberates legendary journalists from rigid broadcast schedules and aging legacy networks. By launching a dedicated competitor on a global platform, the team could deliver long-form investigative journalism without commercial interruptions.
Netflix’s massive subscriber base provides a digital-first home ideally suited for immersive, on-demand documentaries. Unbound by linear television constraints, the investigative unit could utilize interactive storytelling and deep-dive specials tailored to modern viewing habits. Establishing an ad-free current events powerhouse on Netflix would redefine premium journalism for digital natives while preserving the team’s commitment to fearless reporting.
Price argued they should call it “The Original 60,” leaning into the 60 Minutes name without out violating copyright laws. Roughly half of the 60 Minutes team are now independent and this could be a brilliant move. The word “Original” means its style and focus.  Netflix loves high brow journalism and documentaries and spares no expense getting projects done.  This makes perfect sense for the journalism and the streaming platform.

According to a statement, “Jeremy Murphy is a sarcastic, embittered veteran of the media industry.
