In many ways, the 25th Anniversary of Princess Diana’s death is still a day to mourn. She was a beautiful young woman who spent her whole adult life in the spotlight. Despite the tragic circumstances that led to her death, the people who loved and supported her have never lost sight of her contributions.Prince Harry has said he would like his children to know their late grandmother. The princess died in a tragic car crash in Paris on August 31, 1997. Her sons, William and Harry, have since gone on to champion causes near and dear to Diana’s heart. Prince William has previously described the time after Diana’s death as one of the hardest periods of his life. He also spoke openly about Diana’s legacy during the tenth anniversary in 2007 and the twentieth anniversary in 2017. In a GQ magazine interview, he opened up about the impact Diana had on him and his family.Prince Philip promised the young princes that he would walk with them at Diana’s funeral. During the funeral procession, the pair walked behind the coffin. According to Princess Anne, Prince Philip’s support encouraged William and Harry to attend the funeral.The royal family has always kept a low profile around her death anniversary, both of the Princes plan on attending but neither intend to spend time together. Prince Charles has also been notorious for making himself scarce around Diana’s anniversary. Princess Diana was born into nobility and grew up near the royal family on the Sandringham estate. She married Prince Charles in 1981 and they had two sons together. The couple later divorced. Princess Diana was very talented in music, dance and sports. In the late 1970s, Diana moved to London and took various low-paying jobs, including in child care, before dating and marrying Prince Charles.
