Biden-Xi Talks: Politics and Policies During Turmoil

Recently Kevin Price, Host of the nationally syndicated Price of Business Show, interviewed John D. O’Connor.

To President Joe Biden, the recent APEC meetings in San Francisco offered him the opportunity to shore up his waning political support, by appearing to be a strong leader. It was for this reason that his team had spent months pandering to China to arrange this photo-op. While the media accept the White House version of a successful “cooling of tensions”, what exactly did Biden give up prior to the meetings in order to enhance his political standing?

A clear-eyed appraisal of what likely was the underpinnings of this “summit” are clearly worrisome?

Should Taiwan be worried about its future? And would any appeasement of China embolden Iran in its desire to destroy Israel? The media which has uncritically praised the Biden-Xi talks bear responsibility for what appears to be an increasingly dangerous situation in our fraught world.

Kevin Price introduces Price of Business show recurring guest, John D. O’Connor. O’Connor was the famed attorney of Watergate’s “Deep Throat.
